Event Details

Plain and simple, ACH growth has been fueled by the merchant community. Brick and mortar retailers like Wal-Mart and e-Commerce merchants alike have embraced the low-cost ubiquitous ACH to lower the cost of payment acceptance. Over 18 billion items are originated into the ACH each year. Yet, many merchants have yet to harness the power of that 94-byte transaction that has no interchange and has a high adoption rate by consumers.

This session provides a foundation to the merchant community to make an informed decision on whether ACH is a payment method for them.  The session covers:

  • Overview of transaction types (standard entry classes)
  • How merchants are using the ACH - a hands on walkthrough
  • Understanding the rules and regulations behind the ACH
  • Authentication and Authorization - the two "A" terms you need to know
  • Returned items and how to proces
  • Resources - your regional payments associations and their roles
  • A walkthrough of some product offerings by banks, processors and risk management systems

  Who should attend?

  • Product managers
  • Operations management
  • Payment processing professionals
  • Marketing professionals
  • Financial services sales and product professionals
